In Memory of Patricia Kay
Class of 1985

Mrs. Patricia Ann Kay Pratt was born on May 25, 1965 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of Claude and Nettie Kay. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
Patricia graduated from Courtland High School in June 1985. She was formerly employed with Chase Mortgage Company, Florence, SC.
Patricia married James A. Pratt, Jr. on May 24, 1986.
She was a faithful member of True Holiness Church f Deliverance in Florence and Kingstree, SC, where she received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in 2009. As a member, she served on the Hospitality Committee, sang on the choir, and volunteered and participated anywhere she was needed. Patricia loved the Lord with all her heart and she loved to give Him praise. Her beautiful spirit and sense of humor was always an inspiration to those that came in contact with her. If you were down, she knew just what to say to lift you up. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend to everyone and she will be sorely missed but we know that she is in a better place; the heavenly home that she talked about and was prepared to see.
Left to cherish her love and memory are: her loving husband, James A. Pratt, Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer and Breanna, both of the home; a stepson, Brian of Richmond, VA; a granddaughter, Makayla, of the home; her parents, Claude and Nettie Kay; father and mother-in-law, Apostle James and Lady Hannah Pratt; two sisters, Belinda (Rudy) Walker of Northern VA and Stephanie (Victor) Herndon of Spotsylvania, VA; one brother, Richard Kay of Richmond, VA; three sisters-in-law, Vickie (Sandy) Scott, LaSonja (Raymond) Jackson, and Renee Willis; one brother-in-law, Jason Pratt; goddaughter, Cassandra; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. |
