Stephanie Lee Hillegass, 44, of Unionville, VA was received by her Heavenly Father on August 17, 2012. Born in Kingwood, WV on November 6, 1967, much of her youth was spent in Michigan before settling in VA in 1983. Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Richard Hillegass; maternal grandparents, Ashford and Pearl Maxwell; paternal grandparents, Frederick and Vernace Bishop. She is survived by her two sons, Blaine Ashford Hillegass and Christian Brian Hillegass; Step Son, Brandon Richard Hillegass; Mother and Father, A. Lee and Shirley Bishop; Brother, Fred Bishop; Sister In-law, Cathy Bishop; Father and Mother In-law, Richard and Tannis Hillegass; Sister In Law, Melissa Hillegass and fiancee Gary Bruck; Seven nieces and nephews; God daughter, Rachael Ashton; Tracy Gue, best friend of 30 years. She was also survived by many more beloved family and friends. A former 1985 Courtland High School graduate, Stephanie continued her education at Mary Washinton College and graduated with a degree in Psychology. She was a member and Associate Pastor at Covenant Community Christian Fellowship in Locust Grove VA.
